About the photographer and writer:
Nicholas’s work has appeared in magazines such as National Geographic Traveller, the Aer Lingus in-flight publication ‘Cara’, Canada’s WestJet in-flight mag, and numerous others. He writes and photographs regularly for a number of other publications. Nicholas is a photography ambassador for Razer camera phones and was recently hired to photograph an expedition into the Ecuadorian Amazon. He is an experienced hiker and has summited the highest peaks in Slovenia and Malaysia. As a former Australian Army Officer, he is well-versed in navigation and multiple-night survival in the wild without need for resupply or man-made shelter. In terms of scouting out new routes, Nicholas is experienced at reading the ground and mapping.
