  • Overview:
The Wild Atlantic Way is 2,500 kms long, making it the longest designated coastal driving route in the world. With friends, my wife, and by myself for photo shoots, I have driven approximately one half of the route through Counties Sligo, Mayo, Galway and Clare. The article can be tailored to focus on one specific place or area only, or to take in the entire four-county stretch. Particular points of interest include Achill Island, Connemara, the pilgrimage mountain of Croagh Patrick, and the ever-popular Cliffs of Moher.
